This artwork portrays about an act of perseverance of girl who was trapped inside of a brothel and how she clings on to the hope of the act of perseverance can be seen through her back. The monotone colors in the background represents the dual meaning that can be interpreted as both a barcode and a prison bar which represents how a person can be used an item that can be bought and traded. Her figure is drawn in a Barbie plastic-like mannequin to represents how she is treated like a toy.

New Year, New You. This set of paintings illustrate the night sky as it changes from the tumultuous fireworks of the new year at midnight to the serene clouds of dawn. The fireworks represent the past with all its ups and downs, drawing to an end as the night becomes quiet and the noise dies out. The star speckled sky is a moment of reflection for the coming year. Finally, we are met with the first dawn of the new year, presenting us with a fresh start and a second chance.
