Exhibition is a student-based culminating project of the Primary Years Programme.

Exhibition Weekly Schedule 2021  

Week 1 

10-13 Nov 

& 14-18 December 

-Ask students to think about interests and connect to a TD Theme 

-Move from theme to related concepts, making draft of CI 

-Approve CI (with Gr. 6 teachers, coodinators, principals) 

-Students have first meeting with --Mentor to establish weekly meeting time 

Week 2  

Jan 5-8 

Finalize Central Idea 

Start and finalize Key Concepts and Lines of Inquiry 

Continue working on LoI 

Week 3 

Jan 11-15 

Continue working on LoI 

Research and mentor meeting (at least once) 

Week 4 

Jan 18-22 

Continue research  

Generate ideas for interviews/field trips 

Week 5 


Research continues 

Conduct interview/field trip 

Start thinking about action 

Week 6  

Feb 1-5 

Research concludes 

Develop Action Plan which may connect to Exhibition Video 

 (to communicate research findings) 

Begin creating poster/infographic about your topic for LibGuide 

Week 7  

Feb 8-12 

 Implement Action Plan 

Finish on Poster/Infographic about your topic for LibGuide

Assembly Preparation Week (selected students only)

Implement Action Plan

Make video to share your creative product related to your Inquiry Inquiry Action Plan.

Week 10: March 5

All Poster, Action Plan Products and Videos due on Feb. 22 or earlier.

Exhibition Reflections

Exhibition Staging Assembly on March 5.
