Week 9: This is It!🎉

To Do: 

1. Rehearse your staging presentation. Have all materials ready. 

2. Finish setting up your booth by Monday. Get feedback from teachers, mentors, peers and make final adjustments. 

3. Develop and rehearse your booth presentation. Adjust for different audiences.  

4. Get feedback from teachers on your booth presentation.  

5. Give and receive feedback to at least two of your peers using the print copy of the Booth Display and Presentation Feedback Form. 

6. Evaluate your own booth presentation using the digital copy. 

If possible, have a final meeting with your mentor to complete the Mentor Assessment. However, please note the following schedule adjustments

  • Monday, 4 March 
    • 8.45-9.20: Modified break 1  
    • 9.20-10.40: Staging rehearsal in Gym 1 
    • Math canceled due to Staging rehearsal and booth preparations. Math will be held on: 
      • Thursday, 7 March: 11.45-12.15 p.m., 2-3 p.m. 
      • Friday, 8 March: 7.10-9.20 a.m.,10.45 a.m.-12.15 p.m. if necessary (we will aim to finish the test before lunch). For 6B, we will also aim to have a class party from 2-3 p.m.  
  • Tuesday, 5 March
    • Dress code: Beach clothes for Staging, bring blue Retreat shirt + PE shorts
    • 8.30-9.30 - Staging Assembly (we will go to Gym 1 by around 7.20 a.m.) 
    • 9.30-10: Break - move to pod, change into Retreat shirt
    • 10-11: Booth Viewing #1 (parents and visitors) 
    • 11-12: Booth Viewing #2 
    • 12-1: Break
    • 1-2: Booth viewing #3 
  • Wednesday, 6 March
    • Dress code: Theme shirt + regular uniform shorts
    • 8-9: Booth viewing #4 
    • 9-10: Break 
    • 10-11: Booth viewing #5 
    • 11-11.30: Break 
    • 11.30-12.15: Clean up 
  • Please avoid scheduling mentor meetings when you are expected to be in the pod or in class. 
  • It is recommended that you schedule your final mentor meeting on Thursday or Friday during a breakIf you cannot meet with your mentor in person, please remind them to visit your booth, and communicate with them through email or Teams. Teachers will grant an extension until Friday, 22 March, as this week will be quite busy, and we have term break the following week.

8. Write 1-2 journal entries.  

9. Update the right-hand column of the ATL & Profile Reflection.  

10. Complete the Final Reflection by Friday, 8 March.  

11. Have your parents complete the Parent Reflection by Friday, 8 March.  

12. Write a thank you card for your mentor.
