To Do:

  1. View feedback on your key concepts and lines of inquiry. Make the necessary changes and discuss them with your mentor and teacher.

  2. Make a word bank of 10-20 important words related to your topic. Include the definition of these terms. Add the word bank to your Research folder.

  3. Collect a variety of sources—books, videos, articles, maps, graphs, surveys, etc. Use the resources shared by Mrs. Sheryl. Add the titles and URLs in the Research Organizer. You need at least 20 sources by the end of Week 4.

  4. Take a variety of notes in your Research Organizer. This includes keywords, summaries, direct quotes, pictures, surveys.

  5. Begin looking for field trips and interviews. View the '05. Field Trip and Interviews' folder for resources.

  6. Meet with your mentor at least once. Prepare specific discussion points before your meeting.

  7. Write 2-3 journal entries. Your goals, mentor meeting discussion points, and entries should be more detailed compared to Week 1.

  8. Add examples of your progress in your skills and profiles in the right-hand column of the ATL and Profile reflection.
