Grade 6 Exhibition

Exhibition is a student-based culminating project of the Primary Years Programme.

Week 4: 29 January - 2 February - Action Week! 🎬

To Do:  

1. View feedback on Week 3 journal entries.  

2. Finish your Research Organizer, Word Bank, and Works Cited page.

3. Prepare and conduct your field trips and interviews:

  • Get approval and submit the Field Trip form at least two days prior to your trip. 

  • Record the interview. 

  • Take notes in the Field Trip_Interview Questions form.  

  • If necessary, provide a brief English translation of your questions and notes. 

  • Take pictures and videos of the field trip/interview. 

4. View the resources in the ‘06. Action’ folder. Do the following:

  • Read/review the PowerPoint. 

  • Complete the Action Proposal (links shared via email and Teams).

  • Complete the Action Plan. 

  • Discuss your plan with parents, teachers, mentors and peers you might collaborate with 

  • Get approval from your teacher. 

5. Complete 2-3 Week 4 journal entries.  

6. Attend at least one mentor meeting. Note that this week we have a few events that will affect our schedule: 

  • Wednesday, 31 January:

    • Mentor-Mentee picture taking – Gr. 6 pod (all day) 

  • View the ‘Mentor-Mentee Picture Checklist’ to see the time your mentor will come to the pod. 

  • Wear your Retreat shirt. 

 

  • PYP Certificate photo - Gr. 6 pod (all day)

  • Wear your regular uniform.

 

  • Thursday, 1 February: Yearbook pictures - B305 (all day) 

  • Prepare your regular uniform and PE uniform.

 

  • Friday, 2 February: Yearbook pictures - B305 (~7.30-9.20)
    • Prepare batik and house team color shirt.

 

  • Friday, 2 February: Gr. 10 Personal Projects visit 10.45-11.30 in Gym 1

    • ​​​​​​​Reschedule mentor meetings if necessary.
